Before you start accusing people of conning you, it's best to be sure who is. How do you KNOW it is NTL stopping you getting these services? Sky is a part owner of Freeview, and freeview owners don't get these services either.

It's true that NTL don't say they supply a cut down service. Similarly, they don't say they provide these extras either. They provide exactly what they say (a TV service).

Sky By Broadband has (AFAIK) always been marketed as a service for Sky subscribers, and ONLY sky subscribers. Sky are using it as a marketing tool to fend off VOD (which Satellite cannot do). They want people to have to subscribe to their platform, as well as their services, so why would they offer SBB to cable subscribers?
