Just threaten to cancel your contract, and they then seem to offer you virtually anything, they offer me money off my contract each month, £100 credited to my account and loads of other things, but this was to keep the contract and not change the phone, although they did offer me reductions and one phone for free.
But after all of that i actually canceled the contract and started a new one, as they wouldn't let me get the phone i wanted, due to it apparently being out of stock, and me not spending enough on my account, so instead i ordered it the next day and it was dispatched the same day!
I recently got the Sony Ericson's w810i, not a smart phone but its got the Walkman player in it. Works very nicely battery seems to last about a week for me. Good camera, screen is clear, its got a brightness sensor so it changes depending on the conditions. I'm pretty happy with it, although the Nokia N80 does look like a very good phone.
