Spoke to customer services (retentions) and managed to go from paying £30 a month for 1mb bb, tu weekends, and base tv to £21 for 2mb bb, tu24 and base pack tv.
Just said that effectively paying £10 for 1mb bb used to be good but not competitive anymore with all the offers out now. surprised to find that the speed had been upgraded by the evening and now getting speed results around 1.9Mbps
....So NTL may not be the best broadband around but happy with the price for the service now received and look forward to being upgraded to 'up to' 4mbps in June
