Re: WRT54G V5 - Access Point

Hmm, firewall on the Linksys conflicting with something?

I know Linksys WRT54GS (model up from yours) talks about ad-hoc and infrastructure modes, and you need infrastructure for wired to wireless but where you set that I dunno

Ultimately if you sus it out, let me know 'cos I might need a very similar setup

Does the network seem OK if you connect a second PC, wired to a LAN port of the Linksys, i.e. can that PC see the rest of the netowrk, use the internet etc OK?

Am I correct in assuming that the Server running ISA2004 will have tow network cards, one for the LAN and one for the internet connection. Thus your Linksys router is attached to the LAN side of the network? With this setup should you not treat the Server as a router, thus you are effectively daisy chaining the Linksys as a second router to the server. Thus the server should connect to the Linksys WAN port?
