The 10mbit connection is the lan connection between your pc and the modem, although you said its usb I think it still generates a lan icon. Access http://192.168.100.1/ and enter root as user and pass or admin if that dont work and then goto operational config and paste the numbers here.

Also open a command prompt and type ipconfig /all confirm you have dns servers and paste the first part of your ip address, the first 2 digits is enough, this way can confirm you have an active internet connection at least.
