I am a in need of some help, I am trying to set up a wireless network from a pc to a laptop with a LINKSYS WRT54GS router bought from PC World, we were originaly sold an adsl router that would only work with BT wasted many hours till they told us to return it for the Cable version.
, the pc isnt wi fi onboard, but the lappy is.
I spent all day yesterday trying to get it working without much luck, I have read some posts that say to connect it to the pc to configure it for wirelsss.
I followed the set up cd to the letter, and all the lights were on that were supposed to be, it connected once, then not again.
I had the modem connected to the router, and the router to the pc, internet was on pc fine, but the lappy just wasnt picking up the router, when i searched for networks it had Welby in the list, LINKSYS came up onece but it wouldnt connect to it
I basically need a easy step by step way of doing it.
