I turn my computer off when I finished with it and I have noticed that there seems to be a Windows Defender checkpoint there each time. Some other checkpoints are there, but not the normal system checkpoints. It might not be that it's deleting them, just that Defender is doing that job now
I don't know, someone in the know might be able to help...
