I dont like the idea of 8meg+ for sub £20 etc or even sub £30. I think selling a product too cheaply can only mean one thing a poor poor internet connection. The longer ntl stay how they are the better I can only see things going downhill if they even attempt a universal 10mbit product.

As for telewest yeah they the same company but still operating under the name of telewest so will be keeping their independent product line for now and maybe for a while, I probably wont be expecting things to merge until all the rebranding to virgin is completed. Telewest are opening up 2nd downstream channels on their ubrs which probably explains how they are able to offer better download products.
