You seem to have glazed over the extra 128k upload on ntl's service.
Eclipse's 8mb offering is null and void, for one reason that they wish to reinterpret the English language with the word unlimited and for a second that for 14.99 you get 2gb a month...(I think you should read their product pages first).
Be are niche, good product but poor coverage, so it can't really compare.
Carphone Warehouse...well they are unproven.
As it is
now ntl offer a pretty good product compared to the competition. Of course though, it could be cheaper.
