I was a bit fed up at first - would have been better betting on a tin of corned beef. Right at the back - commentators not even mentioning it. My mum asked it was still running Then gradually the commentators started mentioning it more and I thought, "Hang on a mo - it's making a bit of an effort". Then it's in 3rd place and I'm thinking, "Cooo - few quid if it finishes. Better than nothing. Liable to break a leg at the last fence knowing my luck, though". Then it's neck and neck with hedgehunter and it jumps the last fence much better. And it just goes - couple of horse lengths ahead! The old corned beef is going to win. Was on the edge of the sofa. All terribly sad and working class
