EDIT : Before all that on the PC are you sure you followed the instructions on the microsoft page i sent you starting with "Shared connection with Microsoft Windows Internet Connection Sharing"?

Ok,
We need to try a few things to try and find out WHERE the problem is happening, this is where it get boring but it has to be done.

Connect the XBox straight into the Modem if you can (if you are with NTL, you will need to power your router off for about a minute before plugging in the XBox).

If that works - plug the router back into the Modem (remembering to switch the modem off for about a minute again) and then connect the XBOX directly to the router.

If that works its the PC thats causing the problem.

We need to isoate where the issue is happening.
