Problem with internet connection

Hi I'm a newby so please forgive me if I am duplicating any previous discussions.

Last Tusday I was upgraded to 2Mb broadband and as a result had to have a new Samsung STB. Since then whilst the TV and e-mail has been working fine, the ability to browse the internet has been somewhat limited. I have to reboot the STB regularly (4 times last night) which is starting to irritate the family somewhat because I have to interupt their programs all the time.

I find it stange that whilst I can't browse the internet, I can still check my e-mail.

Does anyone know whether there has been a general problem or is it the STB that has a fault. I am in the Derby area. The connection speed when it is working is great. At the moment I have a fault call logged with CS and they are asking me to monitor how often the connection is dropped over the weekend and to record when this is.

Any comments would be welcome.
