This is a request for any kind hearted NTL employee who wouldnt want me to have to wait a week for my connection to be activated. Well, its actually for my sister but anyway - she already has a modem that somebodt left behind. The config file it has downloaded is unreg.cm but it has an IP address and can ping etc.. but everything else is blocked. I dont have the pin number yet but have the MAC address etc....
It would save the engineer a visit to install it and means my nephew stops giving me earache and can get on Cbeebies this weekend
