DVB-T holds nothing to DVB-C my friend.
In fairness, you can have the highest bandwidth available, but if you decode it through a badly designed decoder, then it will still look worse. I have three freeview boxes (well, two set top boxes, and one USB box for my PC). Watching BBC1 on all of them (and comparing to my Samsung 2100 box), some appear worse than NTL, some better.
