That's up to you and there are probably a lot people who do the same - the point I'm making is saying that you work from home etc won't cut the mustard with ntl. When I worked for tech support I once took a call from a stockbroker who said his webspace was down and was losing thousands of pounds for every hour it wasn't working and would sue ntl for it. When I told him that using his webspace for that sort of application was against the T&Cs, he told me ntl had better not do anything about it or he'd come down to Swansea and place a bomb in the building.

Ntl are aware of people's issues. The team don't need to comment on this IMO. There are obviously problems with people's speed and it's up to ntl to deal with it.
