Frankly, if a large number of pubs or clubs close in your area, it shows a distinct lack of business sense and planning. There's been enough notice that a smoking ban
of some description was going to come into force, so they have no excuse if they haven't found ways to work around it.
FWIW, I'm have to say that I don't agree with the ban the way that it's going to be implemented, but I accept that it's the way it's going to be. Businesses will have to find ways to work with it but, if they don't, you can't blame anyone other than those running them
