Ah thanks for your help (and quick help at that) Right im off out to brave the snow to purchase a CABLE wireless router.

Add wireless to your existing broadband connection. Ideal for Broadband customers already using a router like the BT Voyager 205 and for cable broadband customers.

The BT Voyager 1500 gives you a high-speed network which allows both wired and wireless broadband access. Add wireless and sharing capabilities to an existing broadband Internet connection (i.e you must have an ethernet router). It includes four Ethernet sockets to connect a games console or other Ethernet-enabled equipment.
