ROFL What a load of complete and utter tripe. The networks won't be converged for a while yet dude, and it certainly shouldn't have any effect on your internet speeds as they'll be converged at a backbone level. That is years away though.
As far as the 'How did you know' part that's equally hilarious. Did she think that ntl / Telewest only tell their staff these things?
