I can't find Specs for the monitor. Has it got a seperate DVI and VGA input (for instance, my LG572S at work has both inputs and they are switchable)?

If it has, does the VGA input work well with other cards? Have you tried a DVI-VGA adaptor?

If it hasn't, have you tried a different DVI-VGA adapter?
