Re: Monitor Help!!

Yet another case of this... I've had an Iiyama ProLite E435S for a couple of years now. Originally, I connected by the D-Sub cable without any problems at all. I then bought a DVI cable and have been connecting using that ever since....

Now, I've just bought a second Iiyama ProLite E435S (from ebay) so that I can run dual screen Windows with matching monitors but it looks awful due to heavy tinting!

I have a ATI Radeon 9800 PRO graphics card which has a 1x DVI and 1x D-Sub outputs. Whichever of the monitors I connect by DVI has a perfect picture, but when the other one is connected to the D-Sub the screen is heavily tinted. My original monitor is tinted kinda blue/purple, the new monitor is tinted yellow.

I've tried 3 different D-sub cables and a D-sub cable plugged into the DVI output with an adaptor - All attempts have the same tinted result.

Again, as so many people have posted, when I press the "auto setup" button on either monitor the colour is perfect but as soon as the auto setup is completed, the colour flicks back to being tinted again...

Did anyone ever solve why this happens/how to fix it because I have no warranty for either of my monitors and don't really wanna have to buy a new motherboard and PCI-E graphics card just so that I can have two DVI outputs.....?
