- I have a cable modem just broadband- uk london- windows xp pro- network setup? It's my home computer their are no other pc's linked to it I am behind a mcafee firewall but it doesn't appear to be the problem as normal browsing is fine, it just appears to be when downloading large file's. I have tried unplugging the connection cable to my pc from the modem then plugging it back in and this also seems to work to restore my connection but if begin downloading again it stops working. I am uncertain how to get a trace route working
