My system specs are:
athlon xp 4000 CPU
asus a8v-e deluxe mobo
2 gig twinned low latency ram
asustech nvidia geforce 6800 ultra
2x75 gig 10k rpm raptors in RAID 0
I would love to upgrade both my graphics card and my CPU but she who must be obeyed isn't going to allow that so my question is:
Which will give me the most speed improvement (games and apps)?
I'm thinking a dual core athlon 4800 CPU is probably the best idea (cost wise.....otherwise I'd go for the FX60 if it wasn't almost as much as my monthly mortgage payment
) but the new 7800 512mb GPU's look mouthwatering as well.
Any ideas?
