Sorry but the 360 uses MTU error rather as a generall conection failure error, the problem could still be that your 360 isnt connected to your WLAN at all.

All NTL services support live, (albeit the ntl service has a 100k upload, and the microsoft website reccomends a 128k upload minimum this shouldent be a problem - it will just make you plently of enemies when you start lagging).

Can you check that if you have a MAC filter enabled on your wireless router that your 360s MAC is entered correctly, and if you have any security enabled (As you should do!) that the settings are entered into the 360s settings. PPPoE should be disabled.
