i have two network cards in my rig and run internet connection sharing to hook up both my xbox 360 and the gf laptop and have had no significant performace issues so i guess you would have few if any probs, but i'm no expert so i'll leave it to one of the other guys to give you the definative response.. oh and the other benefit of doing it this way for a small network is no messy port forwarding etc..
