Am I right in saying you'll
NEVER reach speeds of 1700k/sec or 2500k/sec as quoted on the complete 4mbit service nevermind the elite 10mbit service, that will probably max out around 1300k/sec.
With the complete 4mbit service you'll max around 490k/sec so I wouldn't be that worried with your speeds currently.
