Re: MTU/Update Failed... xBox 360
I hear you... but can we just be sure of one thing... you're saying I'm using an ADSL router; but it *is* DSL - and in fact I did have the Voyager 2100 which *was* ADSL and specifically bought it back and replaced it for the 1500 as it didn't work with NTL (obviously... ADSL and DSL connections are *completely* different)... the following is from the BT Voyager Website...
"The BT Voyager 1500 is a state of the art Router combined with an IEEE 802.11g Wireless Networking Access Point. The Wireless Router plugs into your existing DSL or cable modem/router to add high-speed wireless to your Broadband connection."
Also the wireless network in my house for my PDA and PC works fine! So why is it just the 360?
The Cable Modem is built in to the Samsung NTL set-top Box that I have - I'll give plugging directly in to that a try tomorrow (though presumably I'd need to manually clone the "registered" MAC on to the 360 so it authenticates?)... however the set-top-box is not in the right room for the 360 - so one way or another, I need to get the frickin' wireless working
