My daughter signed up to NTL Internet via the phone using her delta/visa card. These can not be cancelled by you or the Bank or Building Society, as it is not classed as either a standing order or Direct Debit. I paid my phone bill by cash, hence they're still insisting that I owe them money. Warning, never use your card to sign up to anything, you can't cancel it.
