Well its happened... cant say im suprised.
When I moved into my GF's house at the beggining of Jan I set up 2mb Broadband via her NTL acc. As its not my account I wasnt aware of the fact that they (NTL) hadnt been taking the payments as per request.
Had this email (with mt GF's details removed) arrive in my inbox this morning
Notification of Direct Debit Amount Due
The Direct Debit payment with respect to your ntl:home internet account is now due for £123.40 and will be collected on or immediately after 03/03/2006. Please note that no action is required as payment will be taken automatically.
For any questions relating to this mail, please contact your ntl:home customer management centre or visit the ntlworld.com website. Please do not reply to this e-mail as the address is used only for outgoing mail.

Where do I stand on this issue? This isnt the option I signed up for, and im sorry but its NOT mine nor my GF's fault if NTL cant get thier act together and take the monthly payments as per agreemtent. WE ARE NOT in any position to pay a lump some in this manner, nor do we intend to!
