Personally I give seller feedback at the same time I ship the goods. It is easier that way, you don't need to go into ebay to just leave feedback.

On this subject what is ebay protocol for cheques. I wait 7 business days from depositing a cheque before I will send goods. I get moaned at by buyers for this despite saying goods will be send when funds are cleared.
