To say they are skins of each other is a bit underestimating. They use the same rendering engine (Gecko), but FireFox and Mozilla are nothing alike. FireFox was rebuilt from the ground up because Mozilla was such a huge steaming pile of bloatware.
In fact more browsers use Gecko than people realise. The only other 2 really are (Microsoft's) Trident and KHTML |
