NTL might think they can treat most of their users like muppets, but not I. I know my connection is worse now than after the upgrade, and its not my proxy/OS/router or anything else they can try and pin it on.
I have just gone down to 2meg, and I am getting basically the same speed/consistency (so not my STB then), and its much cheaper. I'm not even getting the 2meg either.
My NTL BB has always been top notch. If this continues I'll take my money elsewhere.

Same with me..I degraded to 2mb and i was getting 500k speed at peak times and it also was taking me offline every so often this past week or so has been worser than ever,I've been a customer to NTL for 6 years and i'm now going to part ways with NTHELL and go to ADSL.
