1st 512K took 3015 ms = 169.8 KB/sec, approx 1290 Kbps, 1.3 Mbps
2nd 512K took 7203 ms = 71.1 KB/sec, approx 540 Kbps, 0.5 Mbps
3rd 512K took 2203 ms = 232.4 KB/sec, approx 1766 Kbps, 1.7 Mbps
4th 512K took 3860 ms = 132.6 KB/sec, approx 1008 Kbps, 1 Mbps

Overall Average Speed = approx 1151 Kbps, 1.13 Mbps

ADSL Guide
Downstream 1261 Kbps (157.6 KB/sec) 1361 Kbps (inc. overheads)
Upstream 327 Kbps (40.9 KB/sec) 353 Kbps (inc. overheads)

It says 1Mbps but browsing is more like 56K and that’s with no p2p software running. I've tried different proxies without results. Pings seem ok, tracerts can be a bit bumpy but not too bad. It’s been like this for a day or two but I won’t have time to call NTL until Friday.
