A search on the internet for answers last night led me to this forum. So here's the question. This thread is full of people confirmin that they too have had this problem, and full of peoples stories of the inadequacy of NTLs response in fixing it. Surely a forum such as this should have some sort of clout whereby representation can be made by the moderators of thus forum, that they are representing a large number of users. Forum members each individually complaining is getting nowhere.

An alternative suggestion is to start a letter writing campaign to BBC Watchdog.

One more person (me) calling NTL today after reading all the above messages isn't going to make any difference.

What do you all think.

I suggest that first of all YOU ascertain from the senders that the emails are being returned to them and ask them to quote the IP number and error number. Then check with the blocking firms. Some of them are:-
SpamCop blacklist: http://spamcop.net/bl.shtml
MAPS blacklist: http://www.mail-abuse.com/cgi-bin/lookup
Distributed Server Boycott List blacklist: http://dsbl.org - probably the most likely
Spamhaus blacklist: http://www.spamhaus.org/lookup.lasso)
When you have done that you will be able to tell NTL AND Hotmail the blocking server and expect them to take some action. DO NOT TAKE NO FOR AN ANSWER
