Ok, AOL contract ends in march and my dad will have to give notice in Feb. Now he picked up a tesco BB CD, and what im trying to do is find out the settings online to make it work with my BT Voyager 2100 router, but have failed. I think all i will need to know is:

If it's on the same line as your AOL broadband, you'll either have to "migrate" to Tesco's or the broadband will need to be cancelled with AOL and off your line and then reprovisioned with your new ISP, you can't just put in another broadband providers settings and hope it works.
To migrate you'll need to request a MAC (Migration Authorisation Code) from AOL, you can also only migrate to a service offering the same speed, e.g. 512 > 512, 1mb > 1mb etc, the whole process take's varying amounts of times, normally longer than a week.
You also have to make sure Tesco's supports incoming migrations (and that AOL allows outgoing) if not, then you have to wait until your contract expires, cancel your broadband, wait 5-10 days (possibly longer) until BT twiddle in the exchange, re-sign up with Tesco's then wait another 5-10 day's for activation.
