if you have a spare PCI bay in your PC, an ethernet card (Also known as a NIC or network card) can be bought for less than £10.
An ethernet cable would then go from your ethernet card to the router and then the cable modem would plug into the Routers Internet port.

You can not use ADSL routers as it will not work on the NTL network.
