Linksys Ad-hoc Network

Hey guys, got a problem i cannot seem to solve.

I have a network at home (wired), and my main PC also has a wireless card connected to it. I have an Ad Hoc connection between the main PC and my laptop. Works OK (was 100% fine with XP, but now im on 2k on the laptop), basically what's happening is when i reboot the laptop, its as if the network doesnt start. I have to either open / close the Linksys software (otherwise it sits on "no association with access point"), or disable / enable the lan connection. I think it has something to do with Windows 2000 not waiting for the linksys software to post the Wep encryption through? Once i do either the open/close trick or enable / disable, i get my IP (via DHCP from the PC) and am able to browse OK. So all works OK, but its a pain having to disable / enable on every reboot. Plus it makes my AV go nuts as there is no connection there!

Any suggestions greatly appriciated.

Cheers

Kev
