Is it OK now? There could be numerous reasons why it wasn't working, but it's most likely to be a fault local to you.
For the record, broadband technical support is open 8am-midnight seven days a week, but outside Customer Service opening hours you can only contact them on 0845 650 0121. The 0800 052 2000 number will give the opening hours otherwise.
