Definately, I've had it confirmed by NTL. Apparently I got changed from 3Mb to 10Mb on the 14th December. As I didn't get any notification about it I didn't find out until I visited this board for the first time in a couple of months.

My connection speed is now really erratic and keeps stopping an starting briefly. I seem to get a chunk of a file, then it pauses for a split second and then takes another chunk. Downloading a 20Mb file the connection speed jumps wildly between 2.2Mb and 3.5Mb. I've spoken to tech support a few times and they have run me through a few things. Everytime they end up deciding there's a fault on the line. They then give me a fault number and say phone back in a couple of days if the problem still persists. 3 Times I've phones back now and each time the I'm told the supposed fault has been fixed and the fault number closed. I hoping I'll get lucky on my fourth call back tomorrow

Too be honest, I seem to be worse off after the introduction of 10Mb!!
