Your friend downloading 50GB/day, I doubt his ISP are really that bothered, if they are they are a tad insane. Which is it? Telia, Bostream, BBB? There's not that much that can or will saturate a 24Mbit ADSL2+ line to be honest. If he's complaining whenever he doesn't get his full 10 / 24 / 100Mbit and isn't involved with his ISP in some other way than just a customer I'm surprised they havent throttled him intentionally to get him to leave.
Mmm 10 DVDs a day, I'm sure I could use those, honest guv I could. Only 20 hours a day to watch, easy. Downloading just for the sake of downloading sucks
