Your getting into my english the ping plotter was suggested to check the local UBR by a NTL Senior Engineer for this area .

I was told a few months ago that NTL have a few network local issues in this area.
Somnething to do with weather datastreams and balancing

So told to check the connection with ping plotter to local UBR.
As its that bit thats liable to be the problem the route to UBR.

Suppose it will not improve much more improved with Pace2000 then improved with Samsung box.
