Right after re-running the network wizards on BOTH systems hers is back online.
Weird and wonderful but that is Xp isn't it?

Well seems I was wrong they are acting up again and she is getting to the first page say yahoo.com and then cannot move anymore, does anyone have any idea it's obvious that the firewall is giving her the net but something is major wrong here and I am getting ear-ache from her, I know nothing about configuring firewalls but nowts changed for weeks on the firewalls so I doubt it is those.
I just do not get this.

It might be worth checking her DNS server settings... I can't remember if ICS (internet connection sharing) issues DHCP addresses to clients or whether it just honours all requests on it's IP range as a default gateway.
If it is DHCP, then it should have the same DNS servers listed as your main PC anyway.
If it's got manually assigned IP settings then it's worth checking to see if the DNS servers are correct.
