Re: Cable Modem and usb

Strip the USB controllers and root hubs off in Device Manager and reinstall. Preferably get the latest drivers from your mainboard mfr... if the PC was "off the shelf" they may be difficult to find. What make / model?

By this I mean...

All of the items "USB Root Hub" or "USB controller", right click, select uninstall. Then reboot the PC.
