Cool, hopefully now you have your full working IP address and MAC address you can make things easy on yourself by cloning them into the router so that NTL thinks it's talking to your PC
By the way, which version of the router is it?

as there are a few. Also try to bypass the setup wizard, I know the linksys one gives me grief if I let it run. You may find there is a url you can type in (look in the manual) that will take you straight into your settings screen.
