Hello all,
I did telephone ntl where it was explained that there was a problem in my area. This is a situation that had been deteriating for two months but perhaps I should have phoned them sooner to let them know I was having a problem.
Email became availabe again today, managed to download the presentation that i had to give yesterday but that's something I had planned for.

Still losing the connection now and again but it is much improved.
I have been using ZA since 1996 and it's very good at letting you know when it's having problems, as well as being the first firewall to block outgoing as well as incoming information.
