to the forum Debbie. It doesn't matter whether the router is attached to an NTL or a Telewest service, they work the same way.

I have a Belkin, and I would have to agree with those people who say the biggest weakness of them is their poor signal strength. The most popular router among people who express an opinion on this forum is the Linksys WRT54g.

I don't think it's worth your while paying extra for a 125g model. 54g is already a lot faster than your internet service. 125g is really for offices where high-speed data transfer around the local network is important.
