I think that if the service is 1mb unlimited then that is the service I should be getting not this 512, at no point in this to and fro have I been given any choice, except for the initial opt out from 1mb with cap.
I was not forced to downgrade just downgraded and then told about it.
Some clarification from NTL on what exactly they are doing would be nice but as usual it appears that mis information rules.

30gb a month is 10X what you are allowed currently with 1mb - that's probably the reason for the downgrade, though it does seem strange to move you up in November and then downgrade you in less than a month.
