Had a conversation with CS regarding the 10Mb upgrade for Settop Box owners.. attempting to get the upgraded cable modem and the chap on the phone made it quite clear there would be a ÃƒÆ’Ã¢â‚¬Å¡Ãƒâ€šÃ‚Â£50 charge and that there was little point as broadband users with Set-top-boxes that can only handle 5Mb will be 'replaced' after the New Year.

Is this true, that boxes will be replaced or is this just hot-air coming from CS attempting to not give a SACM away for free?
