Are you suing a router?
If yes does the router have a 10Mb uplink (WAN) port?
Is your NIC set to 10Mb?
Is it set on half-duplex?

If so to any of the above, there's ya problem.

A 10Mb half-duplex port cant cope with the signal.

It took over an hour to TS to work that one out.
