Click 'my network places'
Then click on 'setup a home or small office network'
Click 'next'
Click'next' again
Click next again assuming you have no disconnected hardware.
Click the optio at the top 'your computer connects directly to the internet.......
give your computer a name
leave the workgroup as MSHOME if you like but if you change it make a note of it you'll nedd it to set up the laptop.
click next on the file and printer sharing screen
click next on the next screen
then tick the option to just finish and your done.
