3com tailfin/home connect
Luton UBR

ASDL Guide test
Downstream 1865 Kbps (233.1 KB/sec) 2014 Kbps (inc. overheads)
Upstream 486 Kbps (60.8 KB/sec) 524 Kbps (inc. overheads)

Dan Elwoods BB speed test gave me download speeds of
2036k download.mirror.ac.uk
1986k artfiles.org
1843k reverse.net

The speed test here
Fri, 09 Dec 2005 07:00:40 GMT

1st 512K took 1906 ms = 268.6 KB/sec, approx 2213 Kbps, 2.16 Mbps
2nd 512K took 2234 ms = 229.2 KB/sec, approx 1889 Kbps, 1.84 Mbps
3rd 512K took 2282 ms = 224.4 KB/sec, approx 1849 Kbps, 1.81 Mbps
4th 512K took 2234 ms = 229.2 KB/sec, approx 1889 Kbps, 1.84 Mbps

Overall Average Speed = approx 1960 Kbps, 1.91 Mbps

And it's been giving me that sort of result since last week when the modem got it's new config (no matter what time I try it).
